This is it. The big one. The most complex music video so far. Prepare for Air. Assume the position, now fly...
Well, at college we were all given the task of creating a music video. I wanted to do something different from everyone else's, so I chose animation. As a result, I had to do less paperwork, but more work creating it. I started this back in December and I worked on it every day until it was done (23/1/09). I have never been this pleased with a finished Flash video.
But it wasn't enough.
Watching it again, I decided that there were a lot of changes I wanted to make, including more advanced shading, adding extra detail and changing some of the scenes. With a brand new version of Flash and an all new computer to use it on, I got to work on 20th July, and I finally got things looking as they were meant to.
The original version (now in my scraps) was sent to the composer, Ian Habgood, when I asked permission to show the video at film festivals. He gave me full permission (unless I sell copies of it) and complemented me on my work.
In closing, enjoy the video as it was meant to be.
O__O
