In January 1997, a builder named Ross Hustler arrived at Towerstree Harbour, Alton Island. He was a foolish man who, upon arrival, dismissed the warnings of a terrible presence in the land called the Forbidden Valley. Believing it to be mere superstition (despite the crimson clouds covering that area of the land), he headed towards the feared part of the island. Nobody ever heard from him again.
The moment Ross set foot in the wastelands of the valley, he was attacked by a formidable creature: a Nemesite. While it didn't harm him in any way, it grabbed him and carried him off to a cave: the lair of it's master, the king of Demons. Nemesis.
Nemesis gave Ross a choice: live to serve him, or be eaten alive by Nemesites. Naturally, he chose the former, although being eaten later seemed to have been a better option. As soon as he selected his fate, Nemesis grabbed him by the head and pulled him to his feet. Then Nemesis' hands, still clamped around the man's skull, began glowing purple. Ross could feel something seeping under his skin. The feeling then reached his brain and he screamed in agony. A fate worse than death: Nemesis was corrupting his mind.
Following the corruption, Ross was but a shell of his former self. His free will was gone, his skin and hair were differing shades of purple, his eyes were black with glowing yellow pupils. He was one of hundreds of others Nemesis had subjected to the same terrible process. Nemesis gave the man an enormous circular saw and ordered him to kill one of the others he had corrupted. Ross did so without question, and the victim did not protest. Such is the result of corruption: they blindly serve the Demon king.
Nemesis dubbed Ross his second-in-command. He was a ruthless killing machine, now known only as Ripsaw...
Yet another Alton Towers flat ride gets the treatment! I was really stuck for ideas for him, and I could only picture him as the Heavy from Team Fortress 2 (except with a saw instead of 'Sasha'. As I was drawing him, I actually noticed that other elements of TF2 characters kept popping up. The builder's helmet and goggles are similar to the Engineer, he's wearing the helmet like the Soldier's, and the lenses in his goggles are like the Sniper's glasses. The shirt and jacket is just straight from the Red team. That saw is just monstrous. His method of killing with it is even worse. I don't need to go on about that. Adding detail to it was a nightmare though. It always looked too blank, and I was stuck for ideas.
