The Great Discovery by TurboJUK The Great Discovery by TurboJUK
My views on the New Thomas and Friends movie. I saw the trailer, and Thomas goes down some mystic cave. Then he leaps over a ravine. WTF?!

It's official. HiT Entertainment has made Thomas more unrealistic than ever with this defying gravity thing. He's done a 'Fonzie', and jumped the shark.

Thomas (C) Rev. W. Awdry

Oh, hai TVTropes.

:iconnostalgiacriticplz: : (sits back in his chair while a “The Great Discovery” movie poster moves along the bottom of the screen from camera right) Stand back! He’s gonna go for it! He’s gonna go for it! He’s gonna go for it! He’s gonna go for it! (The poster goes over a picture of the shark from “Jaws”) Oooh, he jumped the shark!

I can't believe HIT Entertainment would make something like that in the DVD special. It doesn't make any sense.

Maybe it wasn't so much of a "great discovery", considering those sharks......

Thomas jumped the shark years ago when Hit took over production starting with Season 8.

Oh yeah. Even though I wasn't overly keen on Seasons 6 and 7, they're still miles better than season 8 onwards.
